How many people accually have the header installed and out of those can someone take some pictures for others to see? I would like to see a shot from the under side of the header if possible! (Connection to Cat) Thanks

It'd only be a few bolts I'd imagine. When I get mine you can help me install it...

AWR header finally installed!

Well, this weekend was a great one! Went down to San Diego to see Tony at AWR.
He invited me down to visit his shop to check out his race cars, and, get this, to help me install my new header. How cool is that? Tony Woodford and me, working on MY car, side by side. It was great. He has all the tools to make it really easy. I got there about 7:00 ish. Waited for the car to cool down, tore it apart, put the new header on. Really easy, since I had the Master at my side. So, we are installing the header, and Tony look's at my front engine mount. Hmmm...., he says, " How would you like a new motor mount?" I'm like, "WHAT? A NEW MOTOR MOUNT??!! THE URATHANE ONES YOU SELL?" I ask. He says"yes". Trying not to show my excitement, I exclaim, "HELL YES!!" Too late. He see's the gleem in my eye. So he gets one from his parts bin, walks over to my car and has the mount installed in no more than 4 minutes. No ****. 4 minutes.
So, now the header is installed, the new motor mount is installed, and I can hardly wait to fire it up. Tony looks everything over. Looks good, so he says " Fire it up".
I grab the key and start it up. Seem's to be a lot quieter than I thought. The new motor mount is doing it's thing, holding everything in place. Before the motor would shake like mad during the start up. Now it does'nt budge, at all.

So I say good-bye to my friend Tony, drive away happier than I have been in awhile. I mean, it's not every day you get meet a well known race car designer, have him help install a new header, and give up a new motor mount, as well.

Now, I'm coming to the freeway, car is at operating temp.
I'm thinking there will prolly be a fair increase in engine punch.
Boy, was I wrong. It feels like the whole powerband has changed.
In a good way. Some people have stated they feel like they lost some low end tourque with these headers. Not here. I feel that I have GAINED quite a bit throughout the whole rpm range. The on-ramps seem to go by a bit faster. Actually, alot faster.
Now I'm at speed with the rest of my friend's on the freeway.
I get past all of the moving pylon's and see an opening. I did'nt even have to shift down to fourth to pass. It pulled quite nicely in fifth at about 3500 rpm. Just grunted by them. Felt great! Drove for 125 miles with nothing but smiles for miles. People were looking over at me like I was on crack, smiling that way.
This is the ONLY header that actually make a ton of power. All the other headers I've used, are like " I think it's better", kind of power. This one DOES have a good power gain. Don't have access to a dyno. The butt dyno tells me I made a good choice.

The sound is intoxicating, to say the least. I like to give it a little burp when I go by other cars.

So, anyway, I would say to anyone considering this header, quit wasting time and go get one of these headers!! It is well worth the money. It's very well made, fits great. No problems with the 02 sensor hitting the oil pan, like on some others. Plenty of clearance. The combo of the header and new front motor mount is a great choice and I highly recommend them, and Tony @ AWR Racing. Thank you so much Tony Woodford.
