anthony woodford racing header!

Hey guys, I just got the header and it is amazing. It is a 4-2-1 header which eliminated the first cat. There is NO Check engine light either! I have driven the car 50 miles so far with no problem. and talk about power increase! holy S@#$ A definate recomendation for all.

Yeah I have pics, I will post in the morning. Be prepared to thank god we finally got one! The performance gain is unbelieveable after 4000 rpm. I got it from AWRracing.com. Its listed as a race header, but they finally modified them to include o2 sensor bungs and egr tube. 100% direct hook up!

The only reason why I havent gotten it was because it didn't have the bung for the O2 and the EGR. Now that they do I'll definitely be ordering one.

Question tho...is there a wait to get it? Are they backed-up with the production or do they get it to you fairly quickly?

Ahh finally get to do one of the few remaining mods to my car.

Were there any problems with the install?
The reason I ask is, I know Mackdaddy had problems lining up the ERG, or the O2 sensor, or something that did'nt quite fit. AWR is sending him another one.
Did you run into any problems like this? His car is an auto. Is your car an auto or stick?

Thanks in advance.

Patrick

hey og sk8er,

let me know how the install goes and stuff. is it supposed to hook directly up to the second cat? i want to get a header for my car, but i'm afraid of messing with the precat. since it retains all the bungs for the egr and 02 thingamabobers, how do you think it'll do in terms of emissions? i'm headed back to california when i'm done here in tucson and don't want to have to move back car parts. if it passes emissions with no problem, then i'll get it, if not, it looks like i'll have to go with traveler's short header which retains everything.

TIA,

tonka

I will post how the install goes for sure!
As far as the emissions, I'm sure it won't pass somg here in So. Cal. But, smog checks are every five years now instead of every other year. So, in four years I will probably put the stock stuff back on.
