Question AEM or JKL intake

I am new to the crowd, so be gentle. I am planning odering a AEM SRI or this JKL system that was posted somewhere on the forum recently. Some folks where going after the JKL system(prostreetline.com) is where it is posted. Looks kinda like the factory intake and box. I know there were people that hooked this system up. Does anyone know of their satisfaction with it. Or should I forget the whole intake thing and drop my car about 1 1/2 with some springs?

Actually I think this company is from Toronto. The company is toucan
www.toucanindustries.com/index.php

Every tuning shop should have their products.

btw, on that link you posted it showed your car. are you using
some Night Shades on the headlights? looks nice.
No nightshades. In Canada..the 2003 p5 headlights have black housings as opposed to your chrome. Looks pretty tight IMO.

I've got the AEM shorty as well. It sounds great, and there is a bit of a difference in performance. I probably should have spent more money and got the CAI, but it's not that big of a deal. I like it the way it is. Good deal. I got mine from Mitch at protege5online.com a while back.

bullshit. If it frees more than 1hp it would surprise me. If you pulled off 10hp with a full catback and intake it's a good day. And no installing the intake does not void the warrantee unless the intake was a direct cause in the failure (like say a peice of the intake broke off and got sucked into the engine)

Short ram and Cold air will have very little difference between them on proteges. All you will prolly notice is better throttle response but little if any power gains

i didnt say i believe the guy dude. if you read other posts concerning intakes you'll see that it does make a difference if you get one. if it improves my protege in anyway then it's worth the money.
if you dont like it,dont get it.
