try looking for a standalone ECU that can handle Toyota's VVTi... as those are the most popular cam phasing type engines out there... anything that can handle it can handle S-VT as it is pretty much the same thing

Just FYI, I did a quick search on RX7club, and I found that plenty of people are using the FJO Oxygen sensor (I assume you're talking about FJO), but I didn't see anybody who was using that stand alone. (Of course I don't think that they have a problem with controlling VVT, hehe)

Who is going to tune the stand alone for you? If a shop does it, be prepared to take a big hit. Call around and find out some tunning rates. See if anyone has any experience with this sort of thing.

don't they ship halfcuts there? i mean, you guys only get the engines? might be more worthwhile to just get teh engine with the wiring harness and ecu.
