I bet it fits, Mazda doesn't really change much as far as underhood layout. All the underhood photo's I've seen for later models of 2nd. gens on this website look the same. It's only about a $100 complete, if it doesn't fit return it. I bought mine from NOPI, I bought something else once and it didn't fit, they send you a UPS sticker to send it back for free and credit your account, no hassles.

Seriously, measure it out and buy some 2.5 mandrel bent pipe. The just buy a nice filter and several couplers and youll be straight...brand new, smooth flowing CAI. Im doing this in the next few weeks. all together it will be about 120.....just for pipe and couplers.....not bad considering most after market CAI's are around 200 and they run just aswell as a home made with this method

It will fit as it is sitting on on my buddys 97 1.8 right now...cost was $110 CDN...
The Weapon*R dragon intake is the EXACT same as the Ractive one but with a crappy foam filter AND its like $200 USD...

BTW, DONT BUY PRODUCTS ONLINE! GO OUT THERE AND SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL SHOP!
