Unhappy Vibration at Low Gears

Hi Everyone,

I've just purchased a 1992 Mazda Protege LX and its a great car. However, the car tends to hesitate/vibrate/demonstrate roughness during low gears. What could be the problem and what can I do to get rid of it? Should I get an alignment check or perform mounting and balancing of the tires? Or could it be as severe as engine mount??

Any suggestion is greatly appreciated!

you might want to check out the spark plugs/ wires and the intake hose for any cracks.........
