that's like people say the windshield washer nozzle lights are ricey, i can agree with that if you have tons of lights on your car and can be mistaken for low flying ufo or whatever, but if they look clean and you don't always have them on then i think they're fine... the only thing i need to do that will make me happier is to clean up the install (my wiring under the hood is just strung along with wire ties) to hise the wires or put them in some loom and it'll be beautiful

This is rice things that you add to your car to make it "look fast", but you have nothing to back it up with. If you add fake rear disk brakes, rice. A wing that’s looks like it can off a LaMans racecar (it only slows you down), rice.
Now if you have a turbo or supper charger or best of all you find a way to fit a 396 Chevy under the hood of a Civic, Not rice.
Also not going to happen.
The thing is a lot of the ricey thing people do to make their cars fast or look fast adds weight and slows the car down. So I ask you WHY?
Yes I have a 1.8L 2000 Protegé stock. If I add something to the car it will be a cat back exhaust, and one that is not loud. If you want a faster car get a fast car. The Protegé, Civic, Sentra, Neon, and others are not rockets. Yes if you dump a ton of money in to the car you can make it as Mustang GT. But if you put that same money in to a Mustang GT you have a very fast car(that can’t turn).
Our cars do a lot of thing good their a hell of a lot faster that a 2.0L 4 banger of 15 or 20 years ago. Do remember the Pinto or the Pacer.
I’ve been auto crossing my car for two years now and have let a lot of other people drive it during the fun runs and they all say it’s a damn good handling car. But it’s the driver that gets the most out of the car that wins. I have seen a stock neon ACR bet an EvoV and a 996.

And now that I’ve been ranting I forgot what else I wanted to say.

Well for one my car is NOT bone stock......i Have the EVOIII front bumper....Shaved rear door handles..shaved trunk....94' GSR rims (besides looking dope they also weight a whole lot less than most rims)...I also have BMW M3 sideskirts that are going on as we speak...also a rear erebuni bumper kit from a 93 civic is going on and shaved moldings AS WE SPEAK.i also have my dash and certain parts of the interior dyed perfromance RED.

Performance wise..well lets say anything honda that wasnt vtech was in my rear mirror. That is now beside the point tho'..i blew my engine 2 weeks ago..and am now in a search for a BPT....or the turbo setup alone would be nice(ANYONE?)...and my car will stay AUTOMATIC (lets be original here).

My future mods will be..the willwood brake upgrade....BMW 5 series headlights ( the ones with the angel eyes..wow) and a mustang performace red paintjob. And possibly a 98 civic hatch wide body kit(very distant future).

...so u see no rice on this pro....jus str8 style.

ricey?

Well I have a 90 protege. I have the washer lights (not installed yet). But i did not get the blue or green ones.. I got orange ones and they will alternate with my blinkers. I did this instead of getting side markers.. although i may add those too later. In my attempt to keep my car LEGAL, i found that orange lighs are ok, no matter where i put them. and i have no spoiler or stickers or clear tailights.. I just have a car that i built to my liking, and that's all that matters.

By Pakifiet, did you mean Pakfeifer? If so, I, of course, would have to agree!!

SPENONE, Was there alot of custom fitting required to fit the Civic rear bumper? Which one is it?

EDIT: I misspelled Pakfeifer, too.... My bad! It's fixed now....
