wouldn't be bad if you didn't have the 5spd ****. I saw DaveB's automatic p5 with one and it looked great. He had a little button mounted also where he could cut off the OD on it...looked like a NAWZ button. cool stuff.

Yeah...I had all this sitting in my "car closet", so I decided to do a little cleaning and voila...look what I found. I got it on ebay for the low low. It's got a great weight to it. Due to the stock one being so ungodly high, this **** alone makes it feel like a short shifter...ehhh...you know what I mean.

As for shifting....lol, well, unless I'm on the highway, I constantly have the car in the sport mode.....shift up/shift down.

Matty, I'm planning on getting a blank one....but I'm going to see this weekend exactly what the numbers are made of. I might be able to get them off.....ha ha, I want to see the look on the first person to see the shifter and no clutch pedal...ha ha!

Anywho...since the **** wasn't built for the P5. I had to replace the 3 mini hex screws that came with the ****, with some screws. after a quick test fit and measuring I used the dremel to cut them down. The pics are the final product...yeah for Mr. DIY guy.

Never thought about doing that, but it looks kinda cool. do you have any overdrive button? and does it lock anymore? I would be afraid of accidentally knocking it into reverse or park when driving.
