when i purchased my protege last nov. my dealer gave me a 12month 12,500 mile Guardian Warrenty. Covers anything on the car mostly, that will cause the car not to function if it breaks....but not the clutch unfortunatly. They said that would be driver error.

Anyways. i jus got my Passenger side cv-axel replaced on thur. Pepboys did it, since they repair for Guardian. Cost me $50. THats for anything.(deductible = $50) THATS IT. now i gotta replace Opposite side. (drivers) that boot jus busted. Jus glad to of gotten the warrenty, because its saved me a few bucks last week, and will do the same this week. when i get my other axel replaced.

Im posting this, jus to let you all newer protege owners, to get a year er so Guardian Warrenty Policy. It may/may not suit ur case or help u save some money. But with age of my car, **** breaks...gotta replace it cheap!


I think its only $100 a year er something. Im mostlikly gunna extend mine another year er 6 months. Jus to get these lil repairs done.
