re:
the exhaust is kind of old.
as for the bogging noise it farts straight up, put it that way.
sounds sorta like this (puttuhp puttuhp putt putt puttuhp).
only after i gas it more the bogging noise stops and holds
a cleaner sound.
as for redline injector cleaner....... is that the same as
normal stp injector cleaner because i use that and it doesn't
seem to help.
thanks.

k let's try this again my question got messed up...
i got a 90' protege . my exhaust always boggs out
during deceleration / down-shifting after the car
has been running for 5-10 mins.
i think this is natural for loud exhausts but i dunno.
i changed my fuel filter (it was pretty dirty). that helped
keep the bogging to a minimal. that farting noise is
still annoying though. it sorta sounds like (puttuhp puttuhp putt putt puttuhp)..... really annoying.
i dunno why but when i first start up my car, the car runs good
i can downshift nice and clean. after the engines been running for
a while, then downshifting aint smooth no more and the exhaust
boggs out.
anyone have suggestions to stop the bogging?
i hear a good intake should help.
anyways i want everyones opinions.
Thanks!

Ok dude what is "naval jelly rust remover ". Perhaps I missed something. Try and post your question clearly and avoid double posting. The Redline helps reduce hesitation and surging. Like mentioned, check your entire exhaust for holes. The stock piping & muffler are very prone to rust. It can get rather loud, the size of the muffler is huge, significantly reducing exhaust sound. Check your plug wires, put new NGK plugs, cap&rotor and air filter. These are all vital to good air/fuel/ignition. Good luck.
