My tranny in my 90' LX 1.8 dohc 5 speed manual is giving me trouble. first off it won't shift into 4th gear at all. and when I pull the shifter all the way over in neutral to the right to go in 5th gear, the shifter jerks back to the neutral center. And when going in reverse the shifter makes a "click" sound
The tranny doesnt make any noises and runs smooth in all gears except for 4th cause it wont go in. Could my shift rod/linkage be out of adjustment and binding or is it a bad tranny. Someone told me it might be a broken motor mount but im not sure.
Any insight would be helpful. I just got my car repainted and the bodywork done and now the tranny is screwed over
