yup thats rite.....i got my bp engine installed on the 91 323 . im running stock everything no intake or headers. it took me a while. i'd say almost three days of 8 hrs/day of work but its worth it!
the car is pulling hella hard! on my stock sohc tranny and everytime i shift it the car feels like it jumps in between shifts....

well i just wanted to thank everyone that help me out on my swap i will be posting my 323 pic here soon....peace !!!

hmm...if i compare this car vs my friends crx si i'd say i could definitly take him on my 1,2 and 3.....no doubt!

just curious - since you're using the SOHC trans, did you use the SOHC flywheel as well with the BP swap??.... sounds like it revs ezy

sweet dude, we need to talk. I just picked up a 91 3 for 300 bucks with a blown tranny. It's automatic. I have a spare BP motor and the 5 speed that goes with it, can't remember the code. I got it from a 91 EGT parts car I had. The motor runs better than the one in my current EGT, by a long shot. Gro advised me to just get another ATX and then later just swap in the BP. I think I should still see sufficient power. I just wanna know what the swap was like. So drop me a PM, I'd like to pick your brain on the swap

well...the swap is easy its just that it is very tiring. i did mine 2 days 16 hrs. not including prepping the engine. anyhow do a reserch first about the swap cuz i dont feel like typing 3-4 pages. and dont ask CORKSPORT ! ! ! they wont help u until u buy something from them.

Well...i just tested my car on my way home from the junk yard.
As i approach the light there was a black civic ex ( sohc vtec) w/ 17" rims, greddy exhaust, intake, maybe he got something under the hood that i dont know but who cares. So as we were waiting for the green lite the passenger side rolled down his window and looked at me then the driver started revving his engine and them two was laughing i dont know y. I'm thinking because of my car. Anyhow i didn't do anything not even rev back but i was preparing myself and my 323 .i rolled up my windows put it on heater position but not turned on to help the engine..then the left turn lite turned green so we can tell we have couple of seconds for our lite to turn green...THEN THATS WHEN I LOOKED AT THE TWO GUYS THEN REVVED UP MY EGNINE TO 3500 RPM they did the same ..then lite turned green... he took off already but i had to wait till the bus in front of me that made a left turn clear my way . He was 1 1/2 car ahead of me but my 1st gear pulled hard that i caught up next to them ( thats just my 1st gear)
them shift it to 2nd 6700 rpm ( i didn't redline or power shift) on rite when i shifted on third i was about 3rd i was about 4 cars away..i couldn't believe it i thought he prolly messed up on his driveng so i pland on doing it again at the next lite but this time i was behind him....Lite turned green he took off them i did. he was going so slow i had to pass him on his left side ( i was in the middle of the intersection when i passed him on his left side so thats a very short distance we didn't even pass under the traffic lite yet i was already about to pass him) went side by side him then i looked at him and smile then rev up my engine shift it to 2nd im gone.....DAMN!!!! im lovin this car ! and im running stock not even intake ok...
heres the disadvatage of his car ITS HELLA HEAVY w/ the 17" rims 2 guys and a system DAMN. Thats heavy!
