Cruise control fuse?

My cruise control switch on the dash won't turn on, so what are the possible reasons for that? I didn't see a CC fuse listed, but I may have missed it. Is it on a different circuit? What are the odds of the switch itself being bad? I know Mazda electronics aren't exactly top notch, so that's always a possibility. Is there anything else I should check?
