ive noticed that if you pull it out of gear while driving the RPM's will go strait to red line, i didn't want to find out what happened if i let the computer keep redlining the car LOL

if you clutch it will disengage and also if you hit cancel

Went out on my lunch hour and tried it in my five-speed P5. Result: as long as I was going faster than about 30 mph the cruise worked in third and fourth as well as fifth. Don't think it's too likely I'll use cruise in any gear except fifth, but it does work.

RTFM :)

In the manual it says that the cruise will only work above 40 km/h (if I remember correctly). As stated above, the cruise will cancel if you push in the clutch (manual trannys only).

My biggest beef about the cruise in our P5s is it never seems consistent. That is, if you are on cruise and want to slow down and push the SET button, sometimes it slows for a second, then reaccelerates to the previous setting.

Anyone else notice this?

Actually no, mine works better than any cruize I have ever had. I love the tap down tap up feature.
