Cooling fan wont cut off

Everytime i go to park my car my cooling fan doesn't cut off and will even drain my battery. What do you think this could be. Iwas thinking the engine coolant temp sensor.

When you go park do you mean with the engine off / key out of the ignition it still runs?

Well theoretically the fan shouldn't stay on after shutting the car... unless maybe the engine is really hot

More than likey I would check the wiring for bad connections, somehow the fan is getting current when it shouldn't be (not sure how ours are wired). That's why when you're working under the hood around the fan, safety rules (for any car in for service) state to unplug the fan... because they can come on randomly if there is a short.

On the DX, the fan stays on also, except that it will shut off when the car is turned off. Any ideas as to where to look??
