If I get a CF hood it would not be because of looks, but only to reduce the weight of the car. Isn't that the whole point of CF hoods?

Yes. If I make myself a CF hood, I'll probably paint it.

Last i checked my roomate told his friend in california to set up a meeting with vis racing to see what can be done. Im sure we need around 10 people. This isnt a post saying they will get made this is just to see if we can get 10 plus people to buy them. Im not gonna bug the guy and pull his chain if i dont see some interest. I know my roomate bought a Carbon fiber hood ( its in my bedroom) and its def worth the money. They also got Cf targa tops and trunk lids made for there delsols. im in for a buy ..Jon

one of my friends i go to skool with, he told me where he works at they will make custom carbon fiber hoods for any car for like 300 bux. i can ask him again to see if its still 300 if u guys want to know. i can prolly give u contact info to reachem too. the only thing is u gotta give them a hood so make sure its not ur own. or else u will be drivin around hoodless for a while haha.

peace.

Well why don't tou guys just get someone to make fiberglass hoods, that should be cheaper. Carbon Fiber is only a hair lighter then fiberglass anyway. It's a lot stronger though. I know if i'm gonna buy a carbon fiber hood i'd just leave it. Carbon Fiber looks really good w/ dark colors IMO.

Making a carbon fiber hood for our cars is pointless. Our hoods are very light.
