Ive seen a Escort with a CF hood. matter afact its BigMikes car. The Escort hood and the 90-93 protege hoods are almost identicle. im pretty sure it will fit. gotta talk to him to see if he tried it on his protege yet though....

We need atleast 10 people to get them made. I was gonna start a thread but the fact is no one will dish out 450-500 bucks for a hood on there protege. So finding 10 people seemed kinda Impossible. It would have to be for the 90-93 protege. Im down anyone else?....Jon

I should be comeing into a little bit of money here in a little while. I don't wanna say yeah and not be able to back it up. So are they gonna be regular hoods or have some kinda hood scoop on 'em?
I was actually thinking about fabricateing some stuff off of a 2000 Mustang and makeing a scoop out of it, but i don't know.

Nah, Pro and Escort hoods are quite different. Zxtuner.com sells the CF hood for the escorts. I haven't found anything for the Pros yet. Hmph.. good luck with this one guys.

pretty sure they fit, they both have the same square hoods. wont fit the 94 with the modified 323 hood.

anyways, id pay $300 max for a cf hood. anymore than that, screw it.

id jus get a roll of the plastic CF LOOK stuff, that u stick on the hood then cut it to the dimensions. Looks like the CF dash kits u get for ur cars.....

just another idea

I think that has to be on the top 5 list for ultimate ricer mods. If I saw that in person...I don't know what I would do... besides fall to the ground laughing.

Yeah in my experience you can tell the difference between real carbon fiber and the fake stuff. That would be ghetto, kinda like the people who just paint their hoods black.
