Carbon fiber hood
I wanted to know if anyone could post pics and better a link to a carbon fiber hoot for a 02'/03' P5.
I have seen a carbon fiber hood that has the racing vents in it, I really dont care too much for that one, I was looking for the same style hood as the OEM that come with the P5 only in Carbob Fiber
thx

I think APC carries one that is pretty resonably priced. I dont like the one from Wings West which is the one I think you are talking about. It looks like it is made for show, not practicallity.

I have a FIBER IMAGE carbon fibre hood and I would totally recommend it !! The lightweight hood fits like a glove and does not vibrate or rattle as some carbon hoods do.
The FI hood looks exactly like our "stock" hoods, and does NOT have any scoops. I had my carbon hood painted on each side to match the color of my yellow Protege...... and it looks ****! My painter also clear coated the entire hood after adding the yellow paint and it certainly adds to the looks and upkeep of my new toy. Even if you don't paint yours, I would recommend having a light "clear coat" applied to your hood. Fibre Image does have a light clear coat, but like most carbon fibre it show finger prints, smudges etc.... I found that with the extra clear coat, that it always looks like new. Honest!
Speedbump
PS. Call Sean Or Rishie for a smokin deal on one!
