The big decision!

Not to long ago, this b#$%h of a old lady pulled out in front of me and i hit her. Since i am 16 i got dicked out of not getting my front end fixed for free. But my friends father (body shop ower) said he would do it but i have to buy parts ($700.00). so step 1 is done.

2. the second thing that i have to fix is the front right spindle and replace the right lower control arm, right lower ball joint, ( if i do it my self which it will not been that hard it would cost me a couple hundred dollars. step 2 is done

3.I have to replace a brake line that leaks

4. i have to replace the clutch

Now to the parts that i don't have to have but would like:

5. new bpt motor $1200

6. New paint becuase of wreck $1000

7. Rims $500

8. body kit and painted $900

9.tubro goodies and engine goodies $500

10. then the exhuast (full custom) $300

GRAND TOTAL : about $5650
( but that would be the about everything that i would like to have for the 91 protege lx)

SO here is the ? what would you guys done. i love the protege but i could sale the car and take the almost 6000 dollars that i would have to spend on parts another things and buy something better! HELP me decide!

If you do buy a new ride for 6k, then you'll not have money to swap the motor, put a body kit, get rims, custom exhaust......
you'll have a newer car, but it'll be stock.
and please.........don't tell me that you want to get a civic instead.

As for what you should do........get another protege! u can get a decent LX for under $2k if you look. save jo-self some money
yeah, even my 103hp sohc actually has a pretty even powerband! I have the low-end model with an auto and it's still very smooth, quite nice, makes it fun to drive

that has a lot to do with tire size, any honda is very sensative to gear ratio, so if you try to go all huge on your tire and wheel size it will kill it.....

Well you are right i could have a $6000.00 car but it would be stock. but i do not want a stock car. so i don't know what i should do. i have been talking to friends at school and they all are saying to sale the car and get a honda. i would like some types of honda's but every one want in have they. So if i did put the money in the car, had a sleeper i think when it would be better then any type of honda. I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO!!!!!!!!

If you want to be like everyone else.......get your Civic.
You want to be different..........keep the Pro. Spend the 6k on it and you'll be far ahead of your friends.
