SE setup

does ne1 here know of how i can get the se (4wd) setup done, i know it may cost some money, but i really want 4wd so i can at least think of some major future plans....

If the dealer sells this, thatd be great....

Any cheaper ideas, or maybe pros n cons on the subject would be great.

What's with all the negativity?
I personally would love a 4wd GTX/GTR or Ford Laser like they have outside of North America!
It is going to be a big project, but it has been done! Here's the website of a guy with a GTR motor in his 4WD Protege! There's lots of good info on the site regarding his build up that you should be able to use.
Good Luck on your project man, I hope you go for it!

Even the GT-R tranny? (not GTX) D'oh!

edit: I mean for the 4wds

Ive heard the GTR tranny isn't even powerful enough to handle a good beating. I just think its a waste to convert ALOT of crap to make your car an AWD. If u currently have an AWD protege its a great idea but from what i hear the best platform for a conversion is the lx protege

That'd be my opinion, if the GTR tranny can't handle it either. Otherwise it'd be fun to play with the Subarus
