I know these two are your valve cover gasket.
You can buy a new one , or just get some rtv sealant that is good for use with oil .. and then remove and seal up the valve cover gasket,
this is what I did with my 323 ..

Agreed, that's your valve cover. But don't do a hack job like Bruce suggested. Spend a few bucks and get a new valve cover gasket. Using RTV only becomes a pain down the road if for any reason you need ro remove the cover.

The first pic, from what I can see does appear to be a leaking oil pan gasket.

Both gaskets should be relatively inexpensive from Advance Auto or the like.

oil pan gasket is only $13 at the dealer even, valve cover may be around $20-25.

by using a gasket and adding the RTV at key points along the gasket edge, it will seal up nice and tight.

no , you can lift it with ease..
and using rtv is not a hack job.. you just line where the gasket goes lightly and then install the valve cover...
what's wrong with that ... ?

I did this on my 323 and have yet to see a leak
