what do you plan to do with the car? what type of racing?

when you know that answer, that will tell you want cams to get. There isn't just one set of cams that do all. The way they are ground for lift and duration will put the power where you want it.

i want to run 14.6 all motor with my 1.8L doch
here in Puerto Rico i run 14.9@91mph with 2.24 in 60ft(street tires)

my modifications are:
work in the motor head (port & pulish), pulish the intake manifold
a good ram air, unorthodox pulley, and a pacesetter header with 2.5" . im using the stock flow meter because my rx7 FM dont work.
my future modifications are piston 10:0:1 and cams but i dont know about cams. im looking for some orientation

how much do they cost? and my parents are sending me 300 bux a month, plus ill be working at a tuner shop when i start college, so ill have money...and i know i need to do more research, that is why i am asking around, but like what exactly is involved in changing cams etc...and can i expect power gains?

ive not got time to do all the research i need, and i dont intend to do it now or at least not all at the same time...but i figure to be bringing in 300 a month from rents, plus about 400 a month from working at the shop, so i can save up and generally just slowly modify the car

The internal engine parts will work, the manifolds and by extension, the supercharger won't.
