Mazda 3

Hey guys,

What do you think of the Mazda 3? I think it looks pretty sweet, and I'm considering it for my new ride... that is if my ex lets me continue to use her car. Otherwise, I'm gonna have to look for something else in the meantime.

they're gonna be a dealers in november i heard from a sales dude at gerrygordons' so you won't have to wait that long. I like the sedan...not a huge fan of the hatch since its stance is similar to the matrix.

I'm still unsure what I would go for hatch or trunk... new or used car. I'd love to just go and pick up a '03 Protege, but I'm not sure I could financially do it right now... maybe in about 6 month I could, but I need something before then.

I love the new 3! I am waiting for it to show up at destination (third week of November) and I am going down ASAP. Need to test it out. Probably buying it around April if I like it. No way I want to drive it all winter long. Rather pamper it in the spring and summer and not risk getting slid into by some idiot in winter. Definately liike the sedan better than the 5 door. I also like the Gunmetal colour. It can also come in the lava orange of the MSP.

Go to th MazdaUSA website to check out what they get in their packages. a sedan with a 2.3L! Not in canada though...

I want to see what it will cost me for the features I want and what they can do on the price.

is it the same mazdaspeed orange? cuz the guy at gerry gordon's told me that it was completely different one, closer too that rusty orange colour that you can get civic's in since the mazdaspeed orange was suppose to be exculsive too the mazdaspeed.

It says it is the "lava orange" I believe that this is one of the other colors, not the original. Spice orange was the first MS color but I thought one of the other ones came in a lava orange...

go too the mazda.ca page...the only orange that the mazda 3 comes in is "Sunset orange mica" which isn't the colour i was thinking of and honestly i like it better than the mazdaspeed orange, its got more body too it.

I also like the velocity red and indigo blue. Especially with the interior cloth colors.

well i'm disappointed...i thought the sedan was gonna be like a lil mazda 6...instead its like an older echo crossed with the 6...its too skinny and tall....the interior is off the hook but the car just looks weird. Mazda dropped the ball on this one.

Well now I am confused... The ack end of the 5 door actually doesn't look as bad as the pictures showed it to be. The package I can get on the 5 door is also only a thousand dollars more for a 2.3L engine. Otherwise It's a four door with power package and sport with a spoiler. I liked the 5 door on the tst as well. I only need to try out a 2.0 four door and then I can deside. It is going to be coming home for spring so I should roll out with it for our first meet of next year.

I'm trying to fight back soma, whahahahaha. I got my 3 priced out and ready to go. Just waiting for my monster tax return to buy it. Still waiting on the other colours that are supposed to be coming. Also need to learn how to drive a standard..... sigh.
