Question rims and gas

do bigger rims give you worse gas mileage. because i got 17"s and it seems my gas mileage went down.

no...not really....well that is IF you got tires that are still or VERY close to the stock diameter, it shouldn't make any difference....if they were larger in diameter....then its going to throw off your speedo and your ODOMETER...and make them read LOWER than they should and maybe fool you into thinking your mileage has dropped....OR if your tires are SMALLER then the two read HIGH making you possibly think you are getting BETTER mileage....

SO.....you have to know what the diameter of your STOCKERS were...and what the diameter of your 17's are and do the math.
