Question re: tire sizing

I am wanting to put 2 new tires onto my Pro. It's a '99 LX (Canadian). I purchased the car new with the poopy Firestone 185/65r14 hockey pucks. I upgraded to BF/G Comp T/A HR4 195/60r14 and they were great! I now am looking at the FALKEN ZE-512 tire in a 195/60 or 205/60...

What would be the problem with running the 205 FALKENs on the front and the 195 BF/Gs on the rear. The tire guy seems to think it's a bad idea? Is this a myth?

Yes, bad idea!
Your tires should match for the best safety & handling.
Anyway, I don't know how god those Falkens are gonna be in the snow in Ontario.

I've checked into this and the tire is really well rated and falls into the All-season category. I compared it to BF/G g-force T/As, Dunlop A2-sports and a few other tires and it rates well, some times only fractions less.
I used www.1010tires.com and they have a customer rating system to help compare tires. At least I'm hoping I've researched well !
