Cool got 17's today

Finally...after years and years of driving my 91 protege I'm finally rolln' in 17s. It seems that the ones I got are the same as Gro's except I got them in silver.

Anywho, I'll get some pictures up soon.

hey ozmane88 and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to our Club. There are TWO BIG fridge'S in the corner with anything you can think of in them...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have.

make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

Welcome!!

congrats on the new rolling stock

Thanks very much! I just installed them a few hours ago and found that:

1) both front and rear brakes need to be replaced
2) rear drums are 1mm away from being "illegal" or "unsafe" to use
3) front rotors are beginning to show heat cracks
4) front struts are totally dead, rears are on the way to being dead.

Anyway, I'm putting in an order for some of those parts tomorrow and I'll be installing them within the month - I will definitely take pictures of the progress. I'm leaving the struts till later in the summer. From what I've been reading over the past year on these forums, I'll probably go get the ZX2 struts. The junkyard here in Calgary, AB (Canada) quoted me $65.00 per strut assembly (everything including the spring, strut bearings, etc, etc.), which I think is an awesome deal.

Thanks for the welcome Sir Nuke!
