Best compromise between ride and handling?

Hi guys! I am just curious if anybody has found a tire that offers a great blend of handling performance with reasonably low noise levels? I understand that a 195/55-15 tire will likely never be as quiet as the 175/70-13 grandma tires my previous DX had, but I think the 2 Falkens and 2 Potenzas my car came with border on obscene! I am considering Yokohama T4s, any thoughts or other recommendations?
