Balancing question

I did search, but i didn't find what i was looking for.

here is my question:

When a tire shop spin balances a wheel, do they rotate the wheel to a certain maximum rotation speed, or is it a standard througout the board?

it depends on which machine is balancing your wheel. there are balancers (like the one wheelmax uses) that only balances your wheels to 65mph. i got vibrations after 65mph. then discount tire and tirerack both use high speed balancers.
