wheel balancing
ok. i may be purchasing some new rims, 15 inch konigs. can i just swap my 13's with the 15's by myself or do i have to go to a shop to do it for me. cause i heard that they have to be balanced or something and i don't exactly know what that means. thanks.

Yeah
Unless your wheels/tire combo is coming pre-mounted and balanced, you should have professionals take care of it. I did mine at Costco - they have new balancing machines locally, and the guys seemed to know their stuff. Plus I get lifetime balance/rotation from any Costco now!
BTW, I'm curious - did you buy Konig Heliums? Greenlights? Something else? What tires? See sig for what I have

actually they were going to be 15" konig divas, but i decided not to buy them cause i think i'm going to wait to buy 16's instead. i have another question though. if i wanted to rotate my currents wheels (cause its that time of the year), can i do it myself. i know its as simple as jacking the car up and rotating the wheels, but do i have to get them balanced also? basically, what is balancing the wheels and does it have to be done everytime if you rotate the same wheels that are on your car already. thanks.
