Anyone tried a 195/60 15" ?

Has anyone tried a 60 series tire to reduce revs and improve
the ride? There's also many more choices, like the
Dunlop SP Sport A2.

I've got 195/60R15 Goodyear Eagle Venturas in my -99 Protege and I must say it's quite comfortabe to drive and not too loud.

some pics are here

My friend has that size on his wife's EGT. Bridgestone RE950s. If you go with that size, those are about the best thing available. Quiet, smooth-riding, good handling, great wet weather performance.

Another friend has 195/60-14 RE950's on his '92 Protege LX. He is equally happy with them. And since he lives in Seattle, he has plenty of rain experience.

Assuming you are replacing 195/55 RE92s, the 195/60-15 RE950s will even handle better.

Hey, this is my third set of tires. I have a 99 es with alloys and I now have 195-60-15 Bridgestone Potenzas. They are a comfortable and quiet ride, the only thing that I didn't like about them was that they look too big, the lasted on my far now for 21,000 miles and still have probably another 4,000 miles and once those are done I will try to get 205-50-15 or just 195-50-15. They Bridgestone still handle the road pretty good
