Question Aftermarket tire inflation

i have just recently put on a new set of wheels and tires on my car. i went from a 16" to a 17" wheel so the tires are a different size as well. should i still inflate them according to vehicle specs or to the new tire specs? btw... they are kumho 711's 205/40/17. thanks.

its a good place to start....just keep a close eye on your tire wear for a while and make sure they don't look like they are wearing oddly.

this is exactly what I did....things are just PEACHY :{D

General rule of thumb is +2 lbs of air for every +1" of wheel diameter increase over stock.

i.e. - stock is 16" @ 32 psi. +1" = 17" @ 34 psi, +2" = 18" @ 36 psi, etc.
