Thanks to the both of you.
Im going to the Colloseum because my girlfriend has free passes. As for food, we just want to go to a resturant that is a little nicer than something like Boston Pizza or Perkins, but not super formal or pricey. Just a nice average resturant that we dont have in Winnipeg.

Down town there is a few things you can try. In the Eau Clair area, The old sagetti factory, joey tomatoes, brewsters. Also, on 4th st. (you might want a car, its a bit of a walk) there are some nice places, I highly recomend the 4th St. Rose.

Near the Colloseum, there is East Side Marios which is nice/unique.

I know there are more, but nothing is sticking out in my mind right now.

Don't forget the Greek place beside 'the Burger Inn' on 4th Street and 'the Sultan's Tent' on 17th south(Morrocan), 'Salt N' Pepper' on 16th Ave North(Mexican)and 'Puspa' on Northmount Drive(East Indian)NW. All those restraunts are some of my faves, BP and Wendy's,....Boring. All of those that I mentioned aren't pricey either.

I thought 'the burger inn' on 4th along withthe kremlin closed down to make way for the new condo development?

Depending on money - Divino's on 1st and 9th.

C Train is easy $1.75 for 90 minutes in any direction (you can get off do somewhere then get back on if its still in the 90 minute direction)

Taxi's are good.

If you want, there is a Buget rent-a-car place just up the block from the delta (you will probably see if it you walk to the train)

It's pretty tough for me to tell you guys. I'm not there anymore. I don't know if it is there or not. It was in November when I was there.

Those places are gone as far as I know. f you want Greek, try Santorini's on Center St. and 13th avenue. Way better than Paros, but a little pricier (about 15-20 per meal). It's about a 20 minute walk from the Delta Bow Valley. Also, for Chinese, hust about any place in China Town (Center street, just on the south side of the river) has lots. Silver Dragon is the big popular place there. Central Grand (also Chines) is at 16th avenue and Center st NW (1 minute walk from Santorini's), in the Chinese shopping center - very good, it's where we always go. There is sushi in China Town at Sakana Grill on 2nd avenue, probably the freshest in the city. If you want Italian, ask around, there are a whole bunch of really good places. Bon Giorno's and Chianti's are both really good and pretty cheap, both on 17th avenue SW (down 4th st Rose way). Earl's on Stephen Avenue Mall is good casual dining too.

OK, I've said enough. I like eating out, can you tell?

Dale.
