I would say absolutely. Imagine an AWD car without the rear wheels. Thats essentially all this is...and it works like a charm everytime. I live in Alabama, so I dont EVER see snow, but I know it works well in rain. If you try to accelerate hard in the rain you will feel the car tug back and forth up the road, but it stays grabbing the whole time.

I would actually prefer a LSD FWD to a AWD set-up. It doesn't put as much draw on the powertrain....but that is only a racing/mileage concern.

That I don't know. I'm not a transmission specialist. I just have access to the Mazdaspeed catalog. Your best bet is to ask whoever will be installing it for you to see what they say.

wtf. You can get those diff from any mazdaspeed dealer for 550-600 dollars. I bought mine for 359 directly from Mazda b/c i'm part of their racer support program.

And BTW its retail is 700, not 1200. The quaife retails at about 1800. i've never seen it for cheaper than about 1050 for the mazdas.
wow, that was really helpful to me. It's good to see mods helping each other out like this.

Not everyone has access to the MMS catalog like you do. Also, none of my 3 local MS dealers even carry this part. The prices I listed were the best I'd seen from shopping around on the internet. If I go by your prices ($700 retail) than my price of $575 is still a bargain isn't it?

Please don't continue to bash me or my products. I'm just trying to make a living like everyone else.

I think people understand that a vendor buys a part at a discounted price and sells it for a profit. It's how they stay in business. this is nothing new. I've never said that I'm selling these at my cost or not making a profit.

If you want to continue this further I'd prefer you discuss it with me in the Moderators section and keep this out of my threads where I'm trying to make a living.

update..only 1 LSD left. Will be selling it for $560 shipped in the US.

This is the last one. Apparently I'm not being fair to the community by trying to make a small profit on something. I've decided to start selling these products on my website instead. Doing that I won't have to worry about fellow forum leaders bashing me or my prices.

I'm floored by the lack of respect I've just been shown.
