Do we have to tighten this to a specific torque spec? or can we just tighten them up real tight?

nah, just snug it up good, crank the car and while it's running QUICKLY check for leaks....you dont want the car getting hot again if you have to get back on the manifold.

Should we go by the service manual torque specs? Typically, specs are per fastener size/material, but should we have to change it for SST (vs. C.I)?

I have the Factory Service Manual at home..I'll check the spec.

I just got back from Wagners' open house. He's still working on the pieces. The laser cut flanges that seal the bottom of the runners and keep the gas in the cat have a center section that Andy has to re-weld into the header. The shop that laser cut the flanges threw those center sections away and set him back a little.

The open house was amazing. I can't say how much nice stuff he has up there....here's a sampling:

2002 PRotege 5 twin turbo (est. 400hp)
2003 MAzda 6 S twin turbo (est. 700hp)
2004 Evo 8 wagner turbo kit (550whp)
2004 Evo 8 RS (brand new)
