Hey everyone whats going on...does anyone know of any good and trust worthy performance shops here in illinois that I could take my 02 MP5 to and get my turbo installed. Its been a long process and have attempted to put that thing on, on 3-4 different occassions and its saying no dice...plus im not the most mechanically inclined person either. So that might have a lot to do with it as well.. But yeah if you could leave some places that I could contact that would be great...thanks for helping..later.

where exactly are you in illinois. i have a buddy who works for Rockford Racecraft. they specialize in typhoons and syclones...but they work on other vehicles also...i believe he said that if theyve never done an install on a certain vehicle theyll cut a deal on labor but id have to touch base with him again on that. they do some good work. ive seen them do a supercharger on a 5.9 dakota. ive seen numerous high horsepower typhoons and syclones. they do custom exhausts. ive inquired about a turbo myself if the day ever comes to where i can afford one. let me know exactly what you need to know i can get in touch with him and get some more info on wether they would do it or not. but this is in rockford so im not sure how far that is from you.

im located in bloomington illinois...so not really all that far from rockford. If you dont know where bloomington's at, its in central illinois around peoria, and moline. But yeah if you could inquire about that for me that would be great. Kinda scares me that they havent done a turbo install on my vehicle before, but if they do good work thats all that matters. What I have is a TSI Turbo Specialities Extreme Turbo kit that includes everything, turbo, manifold, intercooler, charge piping, oil lines, water lines, BOV, everything that you need for a turbo kit. Its a 2002 MP5 in case that needs to be known. But yeah get back with me if your able to contact him about installing it for me. That would be awesome.

alright well i talked to my buddy. he said just to call the shop and ask for Guy, hes the owner of the shop. he said that he knows in the past that he has cut a deal on labor but hes not really sure. he said if you dont get a hold of Guy then leave a message that states that you talked to josh. that way you should get a call back. they should have all the answers you need about if they can do it or not for you. If you happen to have them do it or you make a trip out here to see if they can hit me with a pm and id be more than happy to meet ya there. known these guys for a few years. another possibilty is that if they want to look at your engine bay to see what how the install might go....when you talk to Guy let him know that you got all this info from james( joshs' buddy....i have an 02 P5, so i could maybe go out there for you and have them look at my engine bay and it would save you a drive if they didnt need your car specifically). the shop number is 815-874-7223....its Rockford Racecraft. there website is rockfordracecraft.com.....it hasnt been updated in like a year but its still got a little info about there shop. hope this helps with what your looking for. let me know how everything goes. if you need to talk to me about anything directly or the use my car as a dummy car hit me up ill give ya my cell number.
