No turn or high beams

New owner of a 05' Mazda 3. The turn signals and high beam headlights don't work, nor the emergency flashers. Low beams, brake and running lights work fine. Checked all fuses and everything looks OK. Could it be the dimmer/turn/headlight switch? How do you check?

no headlights, turn signals or heater fan

I recently ran my 2014 Mazda 3 battery dead (thank you cabin lights). The car started right up after recharging the battery, but when I took it out for a drive a lot of things weren't working properly. The turn signal indicators flashed very rapidly, but the actual turn signals (outside) weren't working. The headlights didn't work, and the heater fan wouldn't run. Other things worked just fine. The battery cranked the engine without effort, so I reattached the charger to find that the battery was at 12.6 volts. Hmm--the battery wasn't the problem. This sounded like a computer problem to me, but I couldn't find any kind of reset switch on the car or in the manual, so I simply disconnected the battery for 60 seconds, then hooked it back up again. Voila! Everything works again!

I hope this works for you as it did for me.

Hi! David!

I had the same problem. A lot of Thanks you save my day! I don't know why I don't think that by my self but again you save my day!!

Also I think the same about the dash "warning light"
I Think that the problem can happen for connect the negative before the positive!

But Anyway thanks again!
