Hey all - there's going to be another meet on Jan 18th. This is going to be a bigger, combined event with Ford Foci, Honda S2000, and others. Here's a quote from Jason at RM Racing who is helping us coordinate the event:
"Please let them know that there will be awards for each type of vehcile (S2000, Focus, Protege) as well as best use of RM Racing Products and best of Show. We will also give away door prises and it will be much bigger and better than the first. I have Lou Grubb and Earnhardt's bringing new vehicles for display, maybe a MacClaran, Hummer, our 360, NSX and 996. GHL will be here to display and talk, etc"
So it should be a good time. PLEASE RSVP to laurie@rmrace.com for more information and updates.
I'm going to try and get my exhaust put on and my roof rack strips removed before that show if you guys want to see how that looks up close... nothing big, but HEY it's somethin

As the weather heats up in Phoenix you can always head up north. I have beautifully cool weather all summer lomg.
Hwy 89A from Prescott to Jerome then up to Sedona ending in Flagstaff is just begging for a bunch of Protege's on any given Sunday.

Northern Az Drive
I am in the process of getting a Northern Az mountain drive going.
Right now there are about 5 people with Protege's that have confirmed for a drive from Prescott to Jerome, Sedona & Flagstaff.
It is Sunday, June 1, 2003 at 10 AM @ Denny's Restaurant, 7925 E. Highway 69, Prescott Valley, Az

Couldn't have been my car, or shouldn't have been my car.
My MP5 has been at Galpin since 5/19/03 collecting dust. I have been going rounds with Tim & Mark in the Service Dept.
My Check engine light came on on the 12th and have been dealing with Galpin ever since.
I'll tell you all about it at the car meet on Sunday.
And thanks for the reply.
Oh, I saw a red MP5 driving south on 69 leaving PV tonight and it wasn't driven by somebody in their 70's either.

Once I am done here in washington with getting this new facility up and running I will be back in AZ and more than willing to make the jaunt up to flag once in a while.
Should be back around Sept 1.
