Well would you guys like to do it as a Protege only club, or just a all around car club? I lke the idea of proteges only because then we can exchange ideas about our car, and we will have more collective experience. Although i have alot of friends who would like to be in a car club, but do not have proteges, what do you guys think? I'll setup a bulliten board online when we decide.

I dont know any good meeting spots, thank goodness its cooling off though.

where is everyone?
i just moved from santa barbara, california to tucson, arizona... and while in tucson, i have seen about 10 protege 5's, but no one seems to be on this board! what's going on? i have these neighbors with a silver MP5, but they are in their mid 30's and have no interest in the car other than it functions. there are supposedly these three MP5's that are owned by these two guys who work at ultra performance, but i haven't seen their cars yet. oh well. ....i feel so all alone, there's no one besiiiiide me.... (think Shrek)...

Just bought an '02 ES last saturday. I'm interested in a local club. I raced formula cars and slalomed and rallied Hondas in the early eighties. I have experience putting on TSD rallies and slaloms. I work sundays but let me know whats going on

We will be having an informal meet at the Pavilions in Scottsdale (Indian Bend and Loop 101 in East Scottsdale) at 6:00 this Saturday evening (Nov 16th). No dues or anything like that - just bring your car! Any Mazda will do - although we really want to see those Proteges! RM Racing has offered to provide food, drinks and t-shirts. We can hang out at the Pavilions for an hour or so and then head up to RM Racing up in the Scottsdale Airpark and talk shop.
