It was a very good experience this weekend for me. It was the first ever all-mazda get-together for me. We'll have to do that again in a few months or so. The only thing that was wrong with the whole event was matty getting shafted at the end by the park.

yeah, sorry about that Nicholas....apparently anyone who pays the $3 at the gate can do whatever they want without paying in advance, placing a security deposit, paying $300+ etc...

I hate to be the "bad guy" but sometimes I just see red.

Your idea about maybe having one at Montgomery Motorsports Park could work out great. If I remember right they have a few places where we could have a picnic. I seriously doubt we would have to worry about being invaded. We could always have one here in Mississippi as well. There are a ton of 3rd gens, MSPs and MP3s in Hattiesburg and Jackson, some of which are members on this forum and msprotege. I would also like for everyone to email the pictures and videos they took from the meet, so i can post some of them on my car club site that i'm building.

Another meet sounds great, and yes we are sorry for Matty having to dish out so much cash. I really enjoyed it, it felt like we knew each other fro a long time. Ok, enough with the gay stuff, anyways lets try to keep this going this is a good thing and maybe next time we can have something like a simple mod bolt on time, like a wrench. OK, sorry bad idea we do not want someone's car limping back home from a simple bolt on install gone wrong. And oh yeah, someone needs to tell Ying to go to anger management classses.Ha ha ha just playing Ying, but you can not lie you are fiesty.

Montgomery Motor Speedway does not have a picnic area...however, their are parks relatively close by that we can get together at if needs be. Since I'm down here, I can look into that. It doesn't cost much to enter the park that I'm thinking about (Ft. Toulouse-Jackson Park) Ft. Toulouse I have YET to pay to enter...however, if you plan on camping out...it's like $10 or so. The distance to the track is roughly 15 minutes (if that). There's also another spot...My favorite for my get togethers Lake Martin
Now I can get us the hook up on some nice spots. Not sure about the cabins since I can only rent one per family (military rules...not mine...gotta be military to rent 'em), but there's places around there that we can camp out at or get hotel rooms. The area is EXTREMELY nice to drive around....the route I usually take is full of nice twisties and it's very scenic. Great spots for photos, cruising etc. Lake Martin however, is a ways away from the track and just about eveything else.
Just giving you guys ideas!

i think the next meet will be in the GA area....since there are 20 GA proteges and 5 AL proteges, 4 FL proteges and 2 MS pro's. the GA's have us out numbered.
