well, hard to hide it from wife when she is there... she grew up around drag racing, her dad has been drag racing since the 60's & her brother just took up drag racing. They race at Atlanta Dragstrip, and her brother actually does good, got 2nd place last year (1st full year)
Of course, i could just bring my buddy's car - '89 rx7 w/ 350 in it

I wouldn't be able to afford the gas! He took it to the drag strip once. 135mph 1/4 mile - they banned him from the track.. no helmet/roll bars/etc.. said he didnt think it would go that fast - tried talking him into coming, but he has to work (owns his own shop, he's not there, its not open.)

Cool...so how is the car running now?
Ok...so I'll be up there on Saturday (hopefully the weather will co-operate!!)...but Sunday....Sunday is Super Bowl Sunday...just giving the heads up.

i'm not running it just yet....I'm expecting a new piece from Canada tomorrow that will allow me to get the final belt alignment on. It'll be finished just in time for the meet...
