well we can still do everything for $100/each but no'one else is allowed to come out and even sit in the stands if we don't buy insurance. It's a tough call. Do we want to exclude everyone from our party and save some cash or all chip in and make a big meet out of it.

If we have 20-30 people show up we can't let them all drive but we can take them for ride-alongs....people may pay extra for that.

why do they have the 10 car limit, if only 3 cars can be on the track @ a time?

That's their pricing. They have it broken down by how many racers there will be. 1-3 cars = $1700, 4-6 = $1400, 7-10 = $1000...no more than 10 allowed.

Now the insurance that comes standard with the $1000 package dictates that no more than 3 can race at a time. If we were to buy additonal insurance we could have up to 6-7 at once. Not worth it IMO.

just looks like you could have as many cars as you want, as long as only 3 are racing @ a time, but oh well, any general timeframe for this>

possibly...maybe just a sunday thing in order to keep costs down. It also appeared as though I was the only person to shower that last weekend! I dunno if I could do a 2-3 day weekend without anyone showering!

well i am pretty sure i didnt stink you did ride with me so it couldnt have been that bad. Anyway any idea of the pricing if we go over 10ppl i know after 10ppl we are required to purchase a EMT squad by the hour and ARSCCA was able to still have everybody pay their $25 entry fee yet still have enough to cover the track fee, EMT squad, and still make profit (yeah yeah i know we have like 200 some participants but there still has to be a profit margin somewhere)

i was not given any pricing over 10 people. When the manager quoted the price structure to me it capped at 10 people. SCCA may be given special rates though based on the fact that they are a legitimate organizxation as opposed to small car club.

I will call again in a few weeks to find out for sure. The insurance is changing somewhat and the manager said he wouldn't have exact prices until the first week of feb.

I'd still be game for $175... it's the date of the event is what might hold me back.
