A/C compressor power

I am trying to find out why the A/C compressor isn't working. The refrigerant pressures appear fine. Where is the fuse for the A/C compressor? I had power to the connection near the left front of the engine compartment. I also had power at the compressor until I accidentally grounded while testing for power to the compressor? I hot wired the compressor to the battery and it works fine, so I figure there is something restricting the power to the compressor.
