defroster vent removal?

defroster vent removal?

How do you remove the front defroster vent from the dash, i want to paint it but i can't get it off the dash.

I am not 100% sure but it may be part of the actual dash

hmmm i hope not, i don't think so though cause i can kinda get it away from the dash but its hooked on somehow. It isn't attached at any of the edges that i can find.
