Rear Defroster Problem...

Hey y'all,

Another problem with my protege... It's wintertime now, and the rear defroster does not work! :S

I've checked the links on the rear-view, nothing seems to be broken..
I've checked for any blown fuses in the engine compartment as well as inside, none broken...
I've tested for any power supply coming in from the defroster, no power coming in...

I changed the two 6x9 speakers in the back about 6 months ago, but havent touched any of the wires except for the speakers, so i dunno if that had anything to do with it.. i did notice that the defroster stopped workin around that time, or maybe even before the time that i replaced the speakers..

its possible that the power source is gone, like the wiring could be disconnected or sumthing, but i dont know where it's located at and how i can fix it.. anyone have a clue??

I called Mazda to see if they knew what's up, they said they dunno and that i'd have to bring it in for them to checkup for $80/hr, since its not on warranty no more, i just told them to beat it...
