I have a 2006 2.3L Mazda 3, standard transmission with 160xxx km. I’ve had the car for about 6 months now, and within the first month or so it started having problems starting. I will turn the key and it will crank but not start. All of the lights turn on and it sounds as it should, however it just doesn’t turn over. I’ve tested the battery and alternator and they’re both functioning properly. The engine light is not on, and there are no codes. This doesn’t happen always, just at random. Some days I have to turn the key multiple times, and it finally starts. Some days it has no problems at all. Some days it will start fine, and then struggle ten minutes later. It is now occurring more frequently, and weather doesn’t seem to affect it.I have no idea where to begin with figuring out what is wrong, any Suggestions?
