Exclamation Help!! Weird starting issue!!

Hi guys, i have a very weird starting issue.

2009 2.3L mazda 3 (automatic) starting issue 109,000km

car been siting for few months, just got the battery fully charged, no engine check light,

it cranks. here is the issue, put key in ignition and immediately turn to starting position and hold, it keeps cranking but wont start, i have try doing that with foot on gas pedal too still wont start. However, if put key in ignition on position and wait for 2 s or more than turn key into start position, car fire right up. runs fine, revs fine.

intermittently dies while driving(cold or hot just randomly die). i thought it make be the fuel pump went out. but when i turn ignition on, i put my hand in rear seat, i can hear and feel fuel pump priming. also no power lose or surges when driving. no engine check light.

i have a friend who had a 2002 ford ranger, which is same as the mazda b2000 does the same. key on wait 2s or more than start.

what could this be?? any one had that experience or know which part is the known cause of that??

i m hoping there maybe master technician here who knows the issue

my curiosity made me post this up here lol.

Thanks in advanced.
