You can't get around it.... its your mass air flow sensor.. go ahead.. drive your car without it.. see how it operates.... its used to meter the air coming into the intake so that the computer can apply the proper amount of fuel. Its a necessary component with your stock computer...

swap out your ecu.. which is costly.. and you can get around it.. but do you want to spend 1500.00 just for a mass air flow sensor work around?

Its also about 300 bones.. so be careful.. it is a delicate sensor.. easy to break...

I was talking about the plastic thing that looks like windshield fluid container. It blocks the hole to where in cold ait intake would attack to and where the filter is located. ya know inside the fender. I know you can't get around the sensor but I was just wondering how the HKS one would fit with it. so small i dont see where it could be properly attached. Just wanna know if anyone got it or how they attached the cold ait kit with the plastic container locking the opening to fender opening. Thanks though

You will have to relocate your coolant overflow reservoir. You can either buy or make a bracket and mount it to the radiator support, or simply cut the existing bracket it sits on and reposition to new holes and bolt down.

Yeah sorry man... my K&N Typhoon kit came with the relocation bracket for it. If you want to make your own, I can take a pic of mine so that you can see what it looks like and where it goes?
