p5-es

I just had a stupid idea but I was wondering which car do you think would win in a race a p5 or an es both bone stock just a stupid question and please lets not turn this into a pissing match or I will contact the admin. and have him lock this thread. I just want opinions in my aspect I think the es would win just b/c I think it is lighter but hey it's just my opinion.

Well... there is less than a hundred pounds difference.. so not like it would be a all out smokin the crap out of it type of race..... but the ES is lighter than a P5

Doesn't the P5 have a stiffer body, with the inherent strength of its body shape and the strut tower bar up front? I was told that made the car stiffer and better handling, so in a twisty course, I'd expect the P5 to win.

um.....I'll need to check again, but the P5 is 224lbs lighter than a MSP....not sure how much the turbo system and audio stuff weighs, but I can't imagine 224 lbs.

well.. I looked up the weight of my car on the web... and I've also weighed mine.. and it was about 15 lbs difference??? so.. I'd have to say where I found it is probably pretty accurate...

If the P5 is already 100 lbs. heavier, wouldn't that make it 324 lbs? That doesn't make sense, I could see the MSP being 224 over the ES, between the turbo, IC, stereo, suspension and wheels.
