bolt on transaxle mount

for those who have installed a k&n typhoon intake how did you guys loosen the bolt on the transaxle mount? the bolt where the new coolant bracket goes into...whatever i tried (wd40, heating it up with a blow dryer) it wouldn't come off! i actually had two of my buddies try to pry the damn thing off but to no avail! (maybe were just complete sissies! ) so i had to installl the new bracket using only the screw provided with the kit. the bolt on the transaxle mount isnt srewed to the bracket yet...pls help!

if the bolt head isn't stripped try to find a way to increase the torque you can apply by increaseing the distance between the line of axis of the screw and where you apply the force, I find that putting on a really long pipe on the end of a socket wrench allows me to take off any screw no matter how seized it is.

P.S. For the lengthening of the ratchet handle, be careful! Sometimes that bolt is stuck on like no other and you will actually bend your ratchet! A breaker bar is a very handy tool, so just keep an eye on what you're doing if you don't have one.
