another turbo question (quick tho)

ok this may be a dumb question but i cannot find an awnser for it on the FAQ or SERCH funtions

anyways my question is the following

is it possible to turbo a 1st gen 1.8 sohc engine?

has anyone done this?

A few people were determined to do it, but I don't think that any of them came through with it.

you can turbo any engine. However, engines will react differently to boost. I'm sure 7psi is obtainable with the SOHC. All you need is a custom exhaust manifold or a GTX\GTR exhaust manifold. Check out my post called "quick guide for parts"and you will find a link for them near the end. You will also need a computer to run the whole deal. You may want to upgrade tons of other stuff as well like the tranny (DOHC motor comes with a stronger one), clutch, fuel pump, injectors etc....

(at least you've got a bullet prove bottem end)
